How do I get started?
2
Getting started is simple. Reach out via the contact form or email with a brief description of your project—whether it’s a timber building, Finnish sauna, artistic installation, or consulting need. Include any relevant details such as location, timeline, budget, and your initial ideas.
I will review your inquiry and get back to you to arrange an initial consultation, where we discuss your goals, the site, and the possibilities of using wood as a primary material. From there, I will propose the next steps, scope, and a tailored approach for your project.
What makes you different?

My work combines Finnish wood architecture, experimental design, and hands-on material research. I specialize in using natural and minimally processed wood—such as roundwood and irregular timber—turning material constraints into architectural opportunities.
Unlike conventional approaches, I integrate design, structural thinking, and fabrication from the earliest stages of a project. My background in research and prototyping allows me to develop custom solutions for unique conditions, whether it’s a sauna, a small pavilion, or a complex timber structure.
I also emphasize sustainability beyond material choice, including design for disassembly (DfD), efficient use of resources, and long-term adaptability. The result is architecture that is both technically grounded and materially expressive.
